Filippov Scientific Foundation Scholarship. How to Apply

A perfect candidate should not only have outstanding academic achievement but also be actively engaged in community projects. The scholarship is granted to students based on their academic merit and the degree of involvement in local community activities. To obtain the scholarship young scientists must be passionate about physics and math, computer science or engineering. We will invite the program finalists to attend the awards ceremony where a winner will be announced.

Physics Program Scholarship - $10,000

Only full-time seniors can apply for the given scholarship. The applicants must be dreaming of pursuing a career in science with plans to enter a four-year college next year.

The students applying for the scholarship must be eager to receive a degree in electrical engineering, physics or some other degree in a similar area of study.

The applicant must be enthusiastic about mathematics, physics and quantum statistics.

SAT or ACT score/GPA 2.5 requirement.

Specific requirements throughout year.

It is required that the applicant have a particular number of community service hours, be actively involved in local community projects and activities, such as sports, tutoring, etc., and/or have a work experience.

Computer Science Program Scholarship - $10,000

To be eligible for the scholarship the applicant must be a high school senior studying full-time who dreams about getting enrolled in a four-year university next year.

The students applying for this scholarship must be looking forward to getting a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or some other related speciality.

The applicant must have a keen interest in computer science, technology, or robotics.

SAT or ACT score/GPA 2.5 requirement.

The applicant must meet a certain number of community service hours, be actively involved in local community activities, such as sports, tutoring, etc., and/or have a work experience.

Engineering Program Scholarship - $10,000

The scholarship award requires the applicant to be a high school senior studying full-time who intends to attend a four-year college next year.

The applicant must be eager to receive a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or some other degree in a similar field of study.

The applicant must be passionate about computer science, technology, or robotics.

SAT or ACT score/GPA 2.5 requirement.

It is important that the applicant meet a certain number of community service hours, be actively involved in community (sports, tutoring, etc.), and/or have a work experience.

Mathematics Program Scholarship - $10,000

The scholarship is granted to a high school senior who studies full-time and intends to be enrolled in a program at an accredited four-year college next year.

The applicant must plan on getting a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or some other degree in a closely related area of study.

The applicant must be enthusiastic about robotics, computer science and technology.

SAT or ACT score/GPA 2.5 requirement.

Specific requirements throughout year.

Applicants must meet a particular number of community service hours, be actively involved in various community projects and activities and/or have a work experience.

Masters’ Program Scholarship - $25,000

To qualify for Masters’ Program Scholarship the applicant must have an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another degree in a similar area of study, or be graduating this year.

College GPA requirement.

To be granted the scholarship the applicant must meet a particular number of community service hours, as well as take an active part in different community projects and activities, including sports, tutoring, etc., and/or have a work experience.
